Here are the last pics from my trip to LA, 10 days ago. I finally decided to do a shoot with my sunglasses on: last year’s collection Paul&Joe eye wear. I know I have been posting a lot of jeans oriented outfits but coming next I will show you my last find at the thrift store… a simple nude color Donna Karan blazer! Not only it is a beautiful item, but my friend and photographer Rafik took the pictures and they look amazing!!! Take care darlings and enjoy the great weather if you are lucky enough to have it!
What a beautiful weekend we had here in Northern California! Eating ice cream, enjoying the love… Going to the movies (watched Greenzone with Matt Damon, good movie I recommend it!) and eating pizza (Hot Italian restaurant in Sacramento). There is one thing I miss though: water. The river, the ocean, a lake… would do it very well.
The more it goes the better the weather gets! I kept very wintery colors in this outfit however, go figure… Anyway black and purple are always a good match. Elegant and fun but still dignified… exactly what I love. This outfit you could wear at work (I would think but maybe not) I guess depending on the business. What do you think? Have a great week darlings!
I think it’s the first time I show you this beautiful wool coat from Zara, but even if it was cold, I had to make this outfit a little bit “Springish”! Like a chic sailor always… Oh and the jeans jacket (with studs from Forever21) that look fantastique make this look something else. Have a great weekend dear readers!
This pair of shorts are a last buy (showed them to you in a recent article on Forever21). They were cheap and most important nicely cut. I fell in love with the color and the zipper on the side. Sooo cool. The weather has been going from one direction to another and I just don’t know what season this is supposed to be! Two weeks ago and a couple days last week it was so nice and hot and this weekend the cold invite itself again…
This is an outfit for work darlings. I wanted it fun, meaning not too severe but still professional. If you can look elegant and sexy on top of that why not? As long as you don’t show too much skin… I have a hard time putting away my blue Goyard bag lately, probably because it feels like spring is coming!
It was so beautiful today I had to wear a skirt, but not like during winter time with boots and a nice warm jacket. No, just with opened heels and a sweater. You probably noticed that I seldom wear a scarf. Well I love them (not only because I’m french). I love them because they can become a cool and interesting little detail in a look. Here is my new scarf find at H&M. Love the colors: pink/orange, turquoise blue, violet, a bit of light yellow, black and white. A very Spring feeling. Even if my scarf is full of colors, however, I didn’t go crazy on the rest…
I particularely love this sweater because my mom got it for me… 🙂 And because the wings are so cute and cool at the same time. We all wish we owned the real one! Flying away, going to heaven, never feeling pain… What a plan! So I decided to complement the wings with my butterfly earrings and a light fun pink flowery scarf. Being girly feels so good at times… (PS: did you know that this bright blue is the color of the Archangel Michael?)
Here I come again with my sailor shirt. It was the perfect thing to wear for a nice little walk, in a cute neighborhood, on a Sunday afternoon! I still wore I blazer which is more dressy but that’s just because I like to mix casual (like these ripped jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch) and chic. I am wearing a thicker belt here because the sweater is a little too long otherwise. I would have not put the belt if I had worn leggings for example. Let’s talk about the jeans now. Ripped, but not only… I folded the bottom in a way so that they rest right above my ankles. I believe this rule should be applied for any “boyfriend” type of jeans just because after studying the question, I came up with this distance as looking the best for pretty much anyone… lol.
A trenchcoat! Who doesn’t own a trenchcoat? It is a classical piece of clothing, a must-have all year long. When the cut is right, the fabric lean, and the color flattering, a trench can really make an outfit outstand with elegance. However be careful that it doesn’t go under your knees when you wear it… it will make you look shorter that what you are. I also make it a point to pick one that has cool buttons. They show a pattern, a structure, they are almost like a garnment so they need attention. Choose the buttons with a cool texture or color, and not oversized neither too small. I’ve owned a couple trenchecoats since I was 15 and I’ve always chosen them either grey or beige. Black is a good pick too, a safe choice.
