‘Old Town’

‘Old town’ is fun for it’s look from a hundred years ago… The constructions from the gold mining period are an entertainment by themselves. Privately owned shops are still present and you can find some unusual things like costumes, stupid gifts, candy apples and jewelry stores.

Another green world

Yep I am very inspired by this color… This time the green is closer to a turquoise, or a mix of blue and green. It’s called “bleu canard” in french and I’ve always loved this color. I found this silk skirt at one of my favorite thrift stores for very cheap and had a crush…. More

Chillin’

On a weekend and after a full week of work, there is one thing everybody craves for… chilling and relaxing for at least a day (if possible of course…). Well it is exquisite to not be on a schedule and wonder around from coffee place to little shop. Lately I have been dreaming of my home town… ah Paris! But I know it is quite cold over there still (snow in some parts of France), and I’m not a fan of that. I miss the ambiance, the craziness and the beauty of this city; it is impossible to get bored with it! There is always an exhibit, a play, a movie, an event, a concert, a beautiful day to go to the park, or, my favorite thing, go on a shopping excursion and end up in a Café with a patisserie… Mmmm.

You can’t wear enough!

You can’t wear enough… trenchcoats! A definite spring buy! chic for every occasion. I already did an article about trenchcoats but I wanted to share about another outfit! I also wanted to show the coolest heels again… from H&M. I am in love with them. This new scarf (from the same brand ;-)) is so versatile that I feel like putting it on everyday… Have a great weekend darlings!!

Dress turned into skirt…

Every woman sometimes wonders how they can use their work clothes in another context than work… Well why not? if the fabric is really lovely, comfy, if you love the color. Here the dress is of a kinda pinkish grey, the fabric is very soft, falls straight and doesn’t wrinkle. Cool dress, fancy look (the top is special and detailed but you can’t see it because I hid it purposely). So I wanted to wear it on a more relaxed note. The ballerinas (Chanel style please!) definitely inspire relaxation. Let’s talk about the colors: grey hues (shirt) and a light jeans color (jacket) were my pick for this dress.

California… I love your weather!

This is my first article about fashion, or at least about my passion and love for it… It happened that today, despite the current month here in northern California, the weather was quite nice, and I mean the kind of nice that you find in Paris only in May maybe. So I was real excited to be able to dress lightly with my brand new H&M sweater that is just gorgeous!! just look at these sparkling shoulders! just too cute.
