‘Old Town’

‘Old town’ is fun for it’s look from a hundred years ago… The constructions from the gold mining period are an entertainment by themselves. Privately owned shops are still present and you can find some unusual things like costumes, stupid gifts, candy apples and jewelry stores. Read moreRead more

Rail Road

It wasn’t very sunny on this day, however it was quite warm so a summery outfit was still appropriate.  I had a crush on this Kookai cardigan (got it as a present too!). It looks stunning to me and so so summery. It also changes from a regular striped shirt, but keeping the navy style! Talking about trips and rail roads, I hope I get to take some fun trips around California this Summer: rivers, ocean, lakes, forests and national parks! I did do some of these trips before but it was a while ago and I can’t wait to go for it again! I hope you have some fun too! ;-) Read moreRead more

70’s!

I have been watching some classic movies like The Graduate, Harold and Maud… These movies are pretty incredible! They also were so controversial for the time. Imagine: a movie about adultry and happiness and another about a teenager and a grandmother falling in Love! I was quite impressed and it put me in the mood for more retro/hippy looks. If you haven’t watched these movies yet, you gotta try them sometime soon. Enjoy! Read moreRead more

Gipsy girl

Hello! I hope you’re having a good weekend! I am at a Jujitsu Convention this weekend and it’s turning out being pretty interesting… A lot of people and a lot to learn. Anyway, I don’t know what went through my head this day when I dressed as you see on the pictures. An once of funkiness maybe, feeling funny or wild? or maybe just wanting to be noticed. ANYWAY whether you like it or not I love what I pulled off that day. I love my gipsy style scarf from one of my very favorite brands, MAJE… Also, the jumpsuit is pretty  new so if you have a Mango store in your city or around you, you can go check it out! Jumpsuits are so fun!

Blue jeans

What is it with the jeans!!! I am obsessed. Even more when it is so beautiful outside (here in Cali)! I went to H&M last weekend and guess what? Found this nicely cut, good quality jeans jacket for half its price… Ladies and gentelmen, H&M doesn’t a 15 dollars off all blazers and jackets (max 2 per customer). Telling you it is worth it would be too much! So this one is a H&M & Now (the limited collection, they do a bit nicer stuff and trendier under this label) and I also got another jacket/blazer for half its price that I will show you tomorrow!! This daytime outit will turn into a work one… Have a great day! Read moreRead more

My lovely trenchcoat!

A trenchcoat! Who doesn’t own a trenchcoat? It is a classical piece of clothing, a must-have all year long. When the cut is right, the fabric lean, and the color flattering, a trench can really make an outfit outstand with elegance. However be careful that it doesn’t go under your knees when you wear it… it will make you look shorter that what you are. I also make it a point to pick one that has cool buttons. They show a pattern, a structure, they are almost like a garnment so they need attention. Choose the buttons with a cool texture or color, and not oversized neither too small. I’ve owned a couple trenchecoats since I was 15 and I’ve always chosen them either grey or beige. Black is a good pick too, a safe choice. Read moreRead more

Kiss me baby!

I love this sleeveless linen blazer… You can wear it for work or just to inspire a more confident attitude. The truth is that blazers today are so versatile that you can wear them with pretty much anything you like (except for joggings… but once again jogging outfits should only be worn for sports… but who would wear them for anything else really???). So you know you can abuse them, wear them over and over, no matter the color you pick; the most important is the way it fits you. If the vest doesn’t suit your body you’d better forget it! because you soon will look like a weird cow. The good news is that you can find a nicely cut vest for an affordable price… if you look well.
