This was the day my Love took me to this cute and tasty bakery by his work… What is better than a good coffee and a yummy cookie after a day of work? This might become a ritual…

Ready for an excursion? Going anywhere for an adventure? Gotta be comfortable and at ease in your close… and of course still look sexy. Give me trooper boots, leggings, a Chanel style belt over a camouflage shirt and a jeans jacket! I was waiting for my ride on this parking lot. Almost thought we wouldn’t arrive! “The little black dress”. Do you know who was the first to “invent” the concept? Wearing a simple little black dress was revolutionary when Gabrielle Chanel (or Coco Chanel if you prefer) started the trend. Now who doesn’t own a simple little black dress? Pretty much everyone. That is because it is so simple, basic even, and if nicely cut, very classy. You can match it with a bright color for example (I’m a fan of this red/orange scarf) and pair it with a cool neckalce or big piece of jewelry (because you can with the simpleness of the dress). Jeans again…
Did you ever wonder what you would wear on a regular relaxed day if jeans didn’t exist? Frankly, I don’t know! As a jeans lover I can not imagine my life without it. I own more than 10 pair of jeans (not talking about the jackets here…lol) of differents colors, cuts, style… Life would be boring otherwise. The pair I’m wearing now I found in a thrift store in LA. They are Abercrombie & Fitch for 8 dollars. I love this brand for jeans because they make the pockets just right… Meaning your butt looks really good. Don’t fool yourself here, the back pockets are crucial for jeans… They can make your butt either look sexy, or disgusting and bigger than what they are. Also, one thing I want to add in this session is the fact that I restricted my self to 5 colors exceptionally: blue of the jeans, navy blue, beige and brown (the hue is close so it works), and white. White looks dignified and classy with navy blue and beige. I love the match! Enjoy! Read more
Pink and black… overdone??
Today’s question: are pink and black outfits overdone? I agree that this combinaison is particularly fit to teenagers. Who hasn’t done it when they were 15? Black and pink only, usually black pants, shoes, cardigan, black eye make up and a pink t-shirt (let’s not forget the inner mystery and drama of our mood). It’s so punk in it’s is own fashionable way. So for this session, I wanted to re-use these two colors and make it work so that I don’t look like a 15 year old. Therefore, I mixed a new color with it: beige/grey or taupe. Three main colors with a fourth: dark green from the peacock pendant. Having 4 colors maximum will bring balance to the equation. Kiss me baby!
I love this sleeveless linen blazer… You can wear it for work or just to inspire a more confident attitude. The truth is that blazers today are so versatile that you can wear them with pretty much anything you like (except for joggings… but once again jogging outfits should only be worn for sports… but who would wear them for anything else really???). So you know you can abuse them, wear them over and over, no matter the color you pick; the most important is the way it fits you. If the vest doesn’t suit your body you’d better forget it! because you soon will look like a weird cow. The good news is that you can find a nicely cut vest for an affordable price… if you look well.
