Stanford University
Last weekend in SF, we stopped by Stanford University… and it was BEAUTIFUL. The campus is gorgeous, filled with Rodin statues. Behind me on the pics, you can see the Gates of Hell; c.f. Wikipedia: “The Gates of Hell (French: ”La Porte de l’Enfer”) is a monumental sculptural group work by French artist Auguste Rodin that depicts a scene from “The Inferno”, the first section of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy“. The library was closed unfortunately but we could go see the Church that is a great piece of work. It was a great place to visit, filled with peace and beauty. Stunning.
