Hello ladies! I don’t know what’s wrong with me: I keep going back to greys… over and over, and in this shoot I am in grey all the way! during Spring time! I suspect that I feel like grey because the weather isn’t stabilized yet here in northern California. Anyhow, I am very excited to tell you that I started having real french breakfasts! Yes dear, a proper coffee and croissant or pain au chocolat in the US. Unbeleivable? I thought it was untill my french friends Eric and Sophie, living here for many years now, told me to go buy the frozen croissants and pains au chocolat at Trader Joe’s!!! I tried them: you take them out the night before, they defrost and rise during that night, you put them on a trailer ready for the oven (350 F°) and don’t forget to “paint” them with a little egg yok or olive oil (easier…), you let them gloden for 15 min (the last five you make the coffee) and here you go!!! Delicious pain au chocolat as if you had them in France! Don’t forget to dip them in your coffee and play the french game all the way… I dip everything in my coffee lol. ENJOY!
