Louis Vuitton Fall-Winter 2010/11

While the previous seasons focused on shoulders, Marc Jacobs decided to emphasize the waist and breast of women this season. The silhouettes are neo-fifties style with dresses tight above the waist and very wide below it. How do you like it??

Chillin’

On a weekend and after a full week of work, there is one thing everybody craves for… chilling and relaxing for at least a day (if possible of course…). Well it is exquisite to not be on a schedule and wonder around from coffee place to little shop. Lately I have been dreaming of my home town… ah Paris! But I know it is quite cold over there still (snow in some parts of France), and I’m not a fan of that. I miss the ambiance, the craziness and the beauty of this city; it is impossible to get bored with it! There is always an exhibit, a play, a movie, an event, a concert, a beautiful day to go to the park, or, my favorite thing, go on a shopping excursion and end up in a Café with a patisserie… Mmmm. Chanel Fall-Winter 2010/11 Video

Karl Lagerfeld invited his guests in the North Pole for a spectacular show in the Grand Palais. This fall and winter collection 2010-2011 is dedicated to furs. However, while at Fendi (for whom Karl Lagerfeld also works), they are all real, at Chanel, this season, they are all fake! When they don’t recover boots, furs are sown, knit, woven in the tweed, signature of the Maison. Declined under all its forms, the fur even turns into pants! It has the merit to warm-up the coldest of us.

Paris Fashion Week Part.2

Balenciaga experimental, Balmain sparkling, A. F. Vandevorst Simple

Big disparity of styles last week in the Parisian Fashion Week: while Nicolas Ghesquière pushes the research at Balenciaga, Christophe Decarnin prefers to cover the women of golod. On Thursday morning, Balenciaga seems to have transformed a floor of the hotel Crillon into a laboratory. On an illuminated podium, Nicolas Ghesquière is once again the most experimental of the current Designers. While the rest of them revisit the previous decades, Balenciaga prefers to look forward, exploiting completely the technological resources of the 21st century.

Boyfriend

Wanna look “bad ass ” like a girly boyish creature? Go to the next shop and get yourself a pair of boyfriend shorts. You can add a vest and a bandana (bright color looks cool)  and you are set! I don’t know why but I am very inspired by blue lately. Hopefuly you are not tired of my blue pendant! I have been wearing it quite a bit during the last photo shoots. Oh and I wanted to show you the last discovery I made at Forever21 for very cheap: the striped shirt with the beautiful broderies on the shoulders. The broderies sometimes look ugly and not very sophisticated but this shirt had some nicely done ones! Have a great week!

Christian Dior Fall-Winter 2010/11

Okay, I want to know how you like this collection. I like the mix of leather and very airy, soft fabrics. I love the feminine looks, almost wild and animal (can you see their influence?). I like the equestrianism style (or horse backridding outfits) however I would not see myself wear most of what Galliano proposed. It’s fun to watch though!

Balmain!

Ladies I just got this beautiful jacket at forever21 for sale… and it is beautifully inspired by Balmain! Broad shoulders, officer style and so chic. Blue was my pick and jeans are hot this season (as if it came out of style… nonsense!) If you don’t know what to wear, what is a better choice than a cool pair of jeans and a stylish jacket or blazer!
